Meet Our Team

Callan Durrant

Artistic Director

Callan trained at Derby Theatre, National Youth Theatre and The Actors Class and has performed for Dreamworks, Sky, Royal Opera House, and the New Vic Theatre to name a few.

As a director and facilitator, he has worked extensively with seasoned professionals, emerging artists, performing arts students, youth theatres, children with special needs and vulnerable young people across the country.

Callan first developed the idea for Reflex Theatre in 2014 as a way to explore the concept of realistic, cohesive and imaginative improvised story-telling, engineering a performance method that battles against the repetitive natures of scripted and devised structure.

Megan trained at the Lincoln School of Film & Media and as a performer, has featured in countless productions that include appearances on BBC Three, Discovery Channel and the West End.

She also has an extensive history as a seasoned improviser for 12 years with groups across the country, and as a writer with work appearing at Edinburgh Fringe and on BBC Comedy.

Megan oversees the creation and development of all of our projects and is also our head writer, having created our two Theatre In Education programmes "No Big Deal" and "Trust Me".
