We are a Norwich based theatre company that creates active, responsive content, tackles emerging issues and enables access to essential arts-based learning across the country

Meet The Reflex Team
Callan Durrant
Artistic Director
Callan trained at Derby Theatre, National Youth Theatre and The Actors Class.
As a director and facilitator, he has worked extensively with emerging artists, performing arts students, youth theatres, children with special needs and vulnerable young people across the country.
Callan first developed the idea for Reflex Theatre in 2014 as a way to explore a realistic, imaginative, improvised performance method that battles against the repetitive natures of scripted, devised structures.
He is also a long-time suffering Norwich City supporter and is waiting for Delia to pick up the phone as she's missing out on a superb centre-back.

Megan Durrant
Managing Director
Megan trained at the Lincoln School of Film & Media. As a performer, she has featured in numerous productions, including appearances on BBC Three, Discovery Channel and in the West End.
She also has an extensive history as a seasoned improviser with groups across the country, and has written for the Edinburgh Fringe and BBC Comedy.

Megan oversees the creation and development of all of our projects. She was also the lead writer for our Theatre In Education shows No Big Deal and Trust Me.
She is a big fan of crime documentaries and is the proud owner of the biggest coffee mug in Norfolk.
Alex Oliver
Research & Development Co-Ordinator
Alex trained at the University of Westminster and National Youth Theatre. He has spent the last decade working as a stand up comedian, presenter, producer, events promoter and BBC Radio broadcast assistant.
He has performed at festivals including Latitude and Edinburgh Fringe and featured regularly on the BBC New Comedy Show. He also works with independent venues across the UK, scouting and promoting new talent for live events and BBC Radio.
Alex developed our highly successful Scratch Nights and has launched our new show: WIP It Up. He leads us in supporting emerging talent, providing a platform where artists can showcase and develop their skills.
