Info & FAQs
Thanks for showing an interest in our WIP N Mix creative networking nights.
We aim to create a safe space and we try to be as accessible as possible. So we want to give you as much information before you take the plunge and join us for an evening or two.
When and where do WIP N Mix nights happen?
Our networking events are 6-8pm, every first Wednesday of the month (except December) at The Garage, Norwich (opposite Norwich Theatre and Chapelfield Gardens). There are no steps and it is easily accessible for all.

Who is WIP N Mix for?
Our nights are primarily designed for those who are neurodiverse and are struggling to find a creative network.
Saying that, anyone and everyone is free to join, you do not need to have a diagnosis or be on a waiting list or anything like that. We want to see as many new faces as we can and if you're just there to have some fun, that's fine too!
What happens at WIP N Mix?
If you love arts and craft, we'll have pens, paper and materials for you to draw, make and create.
Love performing? We'll have scripts you can read aloud.
More of a writer? We'll give you a space where you can write to your hearts content.
Just want to have fun? We've got loads of board games!
AND if you have an idea that we've missed of what you would like to do, let us know and we'll see what we can do!
How crowded and noisy will it be?
WIP N Mix will be happening whilst there are classes on at the Garage, so parents and children may come and go very briefly as they arrive and depart, and others may want to get a drink from the cafe.
However, there will be a separate space in the cafe, just for those attending WIP N Mix and the Garage is always a very friendly and chilled environment.
Do I have to perform or do anything in front of people?
There is absolutely no pressure to do anything, perform or showcase any work or performance.
But what if I want to?
Well then, that's where WIP It Up comes in! We want to support professional development and if you want to showcase your work, we have performances nights on the last Wednesday of every month where performers try out something new with a real, paying audience.
If you would like to apply for a 10 minute performance slot, head over to our WIP application form or even better, tell us at a WIP N Mix and we can get help support you there and then!
I'm still a bit nervous...
That's absolutely fine and we completely understand. If you're interested in coming to a WIP N Mix night but would still like more information, or if there a specific requirement you have that we've not mentioned, let us know below by answering these quick questions below.
And just to say, we don't do any spam emails or anything like that and we keep your email completely confidential. It's just so we can get in touch with you about any questions you may have. :)
